How to Perform Precise Keyword Searches on Facebook
Sometimes, you want to search for posts containing specific words or phrases on Facebook, but the results are irrelevant and scrolling to find the right ones takes too much time. Here’s how to get the most accurate results, also known as "exact match."
Note: Only use these methods if you’ve already tried searching normally and haven’t found what you’re looking for.
Method 1: Use Google 🌎
site:facebook.com "keyword"
=> Use Google’s built-in exact match search function.
Method 2: Concatenate the words 🔗
Instead of searching on Facebook for something like phimmoi.abc (which would bring up all posts with that link), concatenate the words into phimmoiabc (without spaces, punctuation, etc.).
=> The results will be more accurate.
Method 3: Phone numbers 📞
If you want to find a post containing a certain phone number, search twice like this:
- Without spaces:
0123456789 - With spaces:
0123 456 789=> This will give more accurate results for phone numbers.
